Who are the Leaders?
Take for example Donald Trump Ji.
USA. POTUS. President of the US.
He has lots of woman related complaints, court cases, scandals.
He even paid hush money to many woman, just to keep quiet.
50% to 60% of USA people don't like him. Even vote against him.
But that doesn't mean God also disowned TrumpJi.
God knows who is TrumpJi.
God knows the heart & soul of TrumpJi.
God saved TrumpJi many times from assassination attempts on his life and limbs.
TrumpJi has many flaws.
Human beings, by default, have many faults. 
We all try to change ourselves.
We have also seen TrumpJi changed himself. 
He leads a wonderful, happy married life with 3 times marrige, 
3 wife experience, many children from 3 wife, grand children too.
He is still having many flaws, shortcomings, personality defects.
But still TrumpJi is a Leader.
TrumpJi wants job, employment for his white people of USA.
TrumpJi wants less outsourcing.
TrumpJi wants MAGA. Make America Great Again.
TrumpJi wants white Race people more happy, well employed, well settled, decent lifestyle.
TrumpJi is NOT wrong to change the World, even though he has many personalty disorders, flaws, human shortcomings.
That doesn't deny his rights to change the World for better.
Like TrumpJi, we can also tell so many examples in India.
Rahul Gandhi.
Priyanka Vadra Gandhi.
Robert Vadra.
Sonia Gandhi.
Rajiv Gandhi.
Sanjay Gandhi.
Akhilesh Yadav.
Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Lalloo Prasad Yadav.
Indira Gandhi.
Jawaharlal Nehru.
So many Leaders had flaws. Shortcomings. Personality disorders.
Like corruption, weakness for woman, bad decisions etc.
That doesn't deny Leadership Position for all above people.
That doesn't deny their Authority to Change India. Remodel India.
Plan for Growth of India.
So, my kind opinion on your above post is, you are NOT entirely correct.
Yes, we must always attempt to remove our flaws, deficiencies, shortcomings.
At the same time we must also attempt to Change the World. Remodel India. Desire for a more developed, progressive India.
