Everyday the garbage collector [janitor] comes home and shouts "Koola" [means, "Kachchda" – the Garbage, he will collect and go]. Monthly Rs.30/- for this. But the word Koola reminded me an Old Tamil word Koolam of Kuppai-Koolam. So the low castes of the north still use this Tamil word. I also noticed the same with "Kondi" – for putting the latch on the gates in Punjab. So many Tamil – or Dravidian words still are in use in North. These are our old places, I love to collect them. When the Indus Valley Script is deciphered, it will throw a lot of old Tamil living here
