The Sycamore Tree is the most famous tree in Egypt ever , the sacred tree of the goddess Hathor, who was called "Lady of the Sycamore", and was also associated with the goddess Isis, the mother of the Egyptians, and the goddess Nut (the sky), and one of the names of Sinuhe is "Sa Neht", which means son of the Sycamore, this tree, without exaggeration, is one of the most important symbols of Egyptian civilization . 
 *It was known in ancient Egyptian philosophy as the Tree of Life, which renews life and youth and grants tranquility, complete satisfaction and fullness, especially the righteous among them, that they can obtain their provisions from the goddesses of heaven, and they believed in the existence of the "Tree of Life" in the east of the sky, and the righteous feed on its fruits.
 The ancient Egyptian artist depicted it on the walls as a sycamore tree, or a combination of a sycamore tree and a lady who feeds human souls and waters them with the water of life .
 * The sycamore tree always appears in the Book of Exodus from the Day and the Book of the Other World, and the heavenly sycamore represents both Nut, Hathor and Isis, each of whom was called the Lady of Heaven, as the three represented the symbol of heavenly motherhood .
The Egyptians believed that the goddess "Hathor" inhabited this tree, and she was also known by the title of the Lady of the Sycamore... One of the greatest tasks that "Hathor" appeared in was providing provisions for the dead... through this sacred tree. This tree also: "provides shade, moisture and food, and in it the soul finds everything it requires, and therefore the tree provides an uninterrupted stream of life in the other world" according to the ancient Egyptian belief.
 *It was also used to make coffins such as the coffin of the god Osiris, and the ancient Egyptians knew its ability to heal and contain medical and health benefits.
 Herodotus, who visited Egypt in the fifth century BC, mentioned that Egypt was like a "forest of sycamores" due to the large number of sycamore trees.
